About the Show…

One day while at the races I happened across a poster for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. It inspired me to get involved. I thought of creating a portfolio of images and doing a show to benefit the TRF. In 2008, that idea became a reality.

I tried to find the serenity of Saratoga mornings, the magnificence of the Thoroughbred, and the thrill of racing. Each piece (with the exception of 1) was for sale and the net proceeds went to benefit the TRF.

All prints were prepared with the help of photographer and printer Michael Sibilia, using archival inks on archival paper or canvas. We chose 8-ply archival mattes, gallery-rated glass, and square-edged white frames for a unique and distinctive look.

Thanks to Chef David Britton and the staff of the Springwater Bistro for hosting the show, and sincere thanks to those who stopped by and helped make it a success.

Several of the framed pieces are still available and may be purchased by contacting the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, of Saratoga Springs, NY. Please visit their website to learn more about how they are providing new homes and new beginnings for retired race horses.
