ABOUT... Dennis G. Hogan Equine Photography

My experience behind the camera began with television news production back in 1989. It was there I found my niche - telling stories with words and pictures. I spent several years writing and producing, and began my own production company in ’94. In ’98, it was back to news, this time behind the scenes as a shooter/editor for ABC 7’s Eyewitness News team, where in 2000, I was awarded an Emmy for editing.

I’ve always had an appreciation for the world of horses, and as a still photographer I’ve sought to capture and illustrate these magnificent animals and their environment. I now hope to broaden that scope and bring my skills, experience, and passion for capturing great images and telling great stories, to you.

My goal is to help you attain yours - be it practical, as in Conformation work, or creative, as in Portrait, Candid or Photojournalistic work. No matter what project you’re considering, I’ll help you to achieve results you’ll be proud of.
